success. Among them was a world renowned speaker, Demosthenes. How could he achieve that? He had a strong desire to become a powerful speaker. It was not an easy task for him. He had a stammer, added to that he was not able to speak long sentences at a stretch due to stage fear, a feeble voice and many such difficulties. But he could succeed only through hard work. As per the doctor's advice he placed beads of flint on his tongue and tried to utter words clearly and loudly. He would stand before the sea and deliver speeches in a loud voice.
